JHS 184 Point measurement in the EUREF-FIN coordinate reference system
The general European coordinate- and height reference system has been implemented in Finland. The specifications for the systems and recommendations how to use them have been published in the Recommendations for the Public Administration with numbers JHS 153, JHS 154 and JHS 163. The datasets composed according to those specifications are compliant to the INSPIRE directives specifications regardless of the state borders. Communal use of the datasets is also effective within the country´s own borders. Systems have been realised to the terrain by measuring the nationwide points. Local points and measurements are bound to the national points. This recommendation describes the classification of EUREF-FIN-points, measurement methods, defining the coordinates and the accuracy requirements. ISO19111 and INSPIRE directive terms are used in this recommendation. The national point information can be found in the National Land Survey of Finlands website Ammattilaisen Karttapaikka (in Finnish and Swedish).
